Fantastic shot, author. Your DOF and the clarity of your shot are top notch. I didn't even notice that little fly in the horse's eye until I viewed the hi res. The only nitpicky critique I can give is to possibly saturate your blues a bit more so the sky looks brighter and cheerier (thats entirely a personal taste issue though; either way is neither right nor wrong). All the best!

Anyone who looks at my work knows I favor Black and White for close up or macro shots. This, however, is an example where the color pretty much makes the picture. The age of the wood and the uniqueness of the grain would be somewhat lost if we didn't have color. So GREAT work, as always, author! All the best!
