(5 years and 232 days ago)This flower needs to be in focus.
(5 years and 234 days ago)I know
(5 years and 234 days ago)You are so smart.
(5 years and 234 days ago)CGI means "Computer generated imagery".
(5 years and 235 days ago)The source image you used comes from Pixabay, which is good. However, this image was created by somebody else, and this is not allowed here. In this case, you should look for a landscape, a ship, a pirate (or someone you change into a pirate yourself).
Also CGI images are not allowed unless you made them.
(5 years and 236 days ago)you need to list your sources. The rules are here. http://www.pxleyes.com/blog/2013/08/participating-in-pxleyes-photoshop-contests/

(5 years and 3180 days ago)Simple, but lots of humor here, lol.
(5 years and 3182 days ago)It was good, but I think you should try to give a bit more sharpness to the image! good luck!
(5 years and 3189 days ago)always loved the fact that he made several versions of his own creation.. adding to the mix is quite refreshing.. good luck author.. really enjoy your take on the subject
(5 years and 3190 days ago)Great work at recreating a difficult image.
(5 years and 3190 days ago)Why not imitate the original composition? Two horse heads? Woman & gargoyle facing the wrong way?
(5 years and 3191 days ago)I never thought I'd say it about an entry here, but too light...
(5 years and 3192 days ago)The Fuseli image has the objects within "the dark of night." These are all placed within a quite bright and smudgy looking background...
I agree wholeheartledly with Woz, the "flow" of the composition is off. You image starts at the upper LH side with the horses, and runs diagonally down to the darkened RH corner, where the eye essentially "falls off."
The original has a more triangular flow, with the figure grounding the eye's movement, and the gargoyle bringing it back up towards the horse's head.
An interesting homage, tho.
Great painting, yes. Your interpretation is nice too, maybe as ibmaxed said could have some more highlights. What bothers me a little bit is the composition, everything happens on the left side, in the right corner it's as good as empty. Rest space is important, but since too many things happen on the left side, I expect *something* too on the other.
(5 years and 3192 days ago)You changed the position from the horses a bit compared to the painting, which shouldnt be a prob for being an inspiration. What I think works great in the painting is that the horse really deems up from the dark and faces the woman, while the woman tries to be as much as possible with her face to the other side. In your entry, it looks like (or how I see it) as if the horses are looking at the gargoyle, observing what it's doing with the poor woman. Perhaps you should reconsider the position of the horses, but I leave that up to you...
Ow, step 6 is can be nice too for being dreamy, though I would make it less liquified then.
Good luck!
The image is a little flat, needs some work on highlights and contrast.
(5 years and 3192 days ago)I can see why his eyes a watering!
(5 years and 3197 days ago)and please use the lasso/ fill>content-aware on that fly! haha
(5 years and 3199 days ago)but i agree with erathion, you can even take it a step further by making a selection of your model, and using a more dramatic background with effects or color adjustments
IMHO this is to minimal work...just copy/paste and few moves with dodge and blur. Idea is nice author but u have to expand this a bit more...Create some more elements using source image maybe to add some more jewels on model, u have space for that...also u could work a bit more on model image, to create some mystic look...Just an idea...best of luck
(5 years and 3200 days ago)Author you need to correct the source link, it's entered incorrectly.
(5 years and 3201 days ago)Shoe is now too tiny for her (look at her ankles and sneakers ankles part). And as sneaker's perspective is not matching the ground, I suggest a toy under it - maybe a sand scoop, for example.
(5 years and 3399 days ago)Very nice work author...nice execution and cool mood...i know is to late to change anything but part where she's legs touch grass should be a bit darker...any how this is great work and i wish u best of luck...
(5 years and 3405 days ago)very cool image
(5 years and 3405 days ago)Cute and tender image.
(5 years and 3406 days ago)Horse image is premanipulated.
(5 years and 3406 days ago)Spooky!
(5 years and 3426 days ago)i agree with Dan about brightness of the blood, image is scary enough that u don't have to use blood effect at all,its clear that she is vampire. And in this moment something is not OK with the source links...any how i like this image and u how time for some improvements author...good luck
(5 years and 3427 days ago)very cool
(5 years and 3427 days ago)There's some potential here. Your SBS doesn't describe the gauzy overlay with the cross [anathema to vampires?], let alone why it's perspective is different from that of the girl. I think the red blood is too bright and thus looks fake. Having her holding a dead baby instead of a doll would be more compelling (disturbing) as would a title that referred to her as a bride.
(5 years and 3427 days ago)Good idea! Try to make it look like the shapes are IN the milk, not OVER it.
(5 years and 3440 days ago)its a tough source to work with... nice try..
(5 years and 3441 days ago)Cool realistic work
