Yep, try to have the mast attached to the leaf boat...other wise you've created a great image here. I especially like the source of the "flood" in the background. Fine work!

This is adorable, but the leaf "sail" mast is behind the leaf boat, so it does not look attached...You may also want to make the ant just a wee bit smaller, as he is disproportionately large in comparison to the blades of grass.

Just flip the background and don't forget to place the candy where it was.

I didn't see what it looked like before but first thing I looked at was the shadows on the peoples faces in the background. Sun is on the left for that image. Your elephant image, is reversed, sun is on the right. Also, shadows tend to get darker as the object casting them gets closer to the ground, meaning the shadow of the child and the elephant's foot should be a little darker than the rest.

As everyone else has stated, you have the humor down easy, what im pointing out is mearly realism and continuity. Goodluck.

I was talking about the extended glow from the other street light, which all "shine" far from the light. The sign (still crooked and askew - how is it mounted to the wall at that angle?!?) has no real glow at all extending past it. Inconsistent...

I like what you've done, but since there is no SBS...I can't see the 'before' scene. Hey...wait...there's no bulb in the one wall light fixture. Maybe add one so that the brightness around it has a source.

Nicely done, but I can't see the light source for the highlight on the small green sign at left.

The hardware store sign is skewed at too extreme an angle for the background image, it looks like it is "floating" separate from the building it should be attached to at a 45 degree angle. It is also too warm in tone compared to the other lights in the scene, and does not show any of the "glow" effect of the other lights.

Other than the glaring inconsistency of that sign, this is a very nice image, and a good effort.

Beautiful! I will say that gravity and the behavior of water would mean the lines and contents of the beautifully made bottle would be angled, not perfectly vertical as they appear. It may just be a trick of the eye, but it's something that stood out to me as not "natural" in the real world. Love your color choice for the liquid!

yes, it is a good image still and I think it gives the feel of what Dragan tries to portray in his photos too.
edit: and just wanted you to know that a lot of times I will try to give advice, even when the picture is good....to try to help make it even better

For one, the sclera is supposed to be white and the iris is supposed to be something like green, blue, brown etc. and the pupil is black. You have only a blue sclera and a black part circle. There really is no depth to the eye because it is so flat looking, like you drew it on (even though your sbs shows you didn't) If NOTHING else, try softening the eyes just a tiny bit so they match the rest of the picture. I think that if you had fixed the eyes and blood, it would have been a great picture! Well, it still is a nice one though

in the high resolution, the eyes look way too cartoonish/flat and the blood needs the follow the contours of her skin and body to look real. I love the overall concept of this!

I love this idea! If you could softly darken the bottom edge of the road roll and put some track prints from the bug behind it...that would help a bit. Nice job!

Love the concept, but your SBS doesn't show how you assembled the elements, and the islands are all basically the same. Try to introduce a little variety.

Author, not sure if 2nd source link is working, just goes to a DA page with lots of stuff. Is the hand part of photo 1? Can't see it. Pretty interesting chop, though.

Like the head and the suspension of the lips -- not sure about the face maybe a bit too blurred or warped -- also shadows seem a off -- too blurry and maybe should be the same way at the shadow of the sunglasses on the face??
