Q: I want to resize all the pictures in one folder from 2400pix x 3600pix down to 900pix by 1200pix. Instead of resizing one by one which will take forever to cover the whole folder, is there any "action" like in Photoshop to do batch resizing?

Q: Is it necessary to have the same resolution for photos that one is attempting to combine. If, for example, I select one area of a photo and then wish to combine it with another of a different resolution do the resolutions of both the photos have to be the same in order to maintain total picture quality when editing is complete?
This tutorial answers that question and elucidates the mystery.

Q: I've heard it's possible to combine a photo exposed for the light colored sky with an identical photo exposed for the dark colored foreground, using layers in Elements. In other words, a correctly exposed photo without HDR. Is this possible?

Q: I've finally (yeah) figured out how to add a digital background to my picture enhancing my portrait subject - NOW I need to figure out how to PRINT it without the pixels separating. I have adjusted the image size after the picture was edited... but I'm thinking I need to do this before...? ANY SUGGESTIONS?

There are lots of ways to add a burnt edge to your photos with Photoshop Elements. We like this technique because you use an Adjustment Layer and a Layer Mask.
Doing it this way gives you many options for adjusting the effect. You can even save it as a Layered file and open it later to make adjustments.
Follow these easy steps to add a dramatic edge to your photos.
