Creating a realistic head is one of the most difficult things to do in 3-D software, for two reasons. First, there are very few programs with organic tools flexible and powerful enough to allow easy creation of heads. And second, when a head doesn't look right, everyone can tell because we are all very familiar with the way a head is supposed to look. The following tutorial shows the steps we took to create the head. These steps are not very specific, and should serve as guidelines in creating your own heads. Also, we recommend that you are already somewhat familiar with Rhino before you do this tutorial. Finally, creating a good looking head is not going to be easy for everyone. A little artistic ability goes a long way in making your head look good.
