For this making of, we will try to show you the different steps used to create the final image. Our goal with this creation was to put together all the accumulated experience and tricks that we gather to create a landscape city.
We used the free plug-in Greeble to generate the basic polygons of the city. This plug-in is very useful in creating the random polygons.

A carpenter wishes to give his son a gift, the only thoughts were more towards a new gift; finally he found this idea (a wooden car). The time of making this project is two months, in this time I establish the library which contain all tools and equipment which present in the work shop and this what I did always, This library is as most of models libraries which is sold but this I did by myself to use it in this project and some future projects if it is necessary “required thisâ€.

The method we refer to as Multi channel texturing takes advantage of the ability to have many different map channels (in other softwares like Maya this is referred to as UV-sets) for the same object while it's material is made out of many maps mixed together using masks with these map channels.

The briefing was simple – create a typical wintery mood you would find in a deserted London back street, but to keep it non cg-like and personal. We have decided to try and approach this project a bit differently, and to treat the job as a matte painting more than a traditional 3D render we would usually do. We started by collecting some references from the web that suited my direction, and by that helping us decide on a color palette and building shapes.

This massive, 117 step tutorial covers the entire process of modeling a detailed DSLR camera, that would be suitable for use as a high-poly scene object in a render, or for generating normal maps to be applied to an in-game model. We will also be going over some of the ins and outs of 3ds Max 2010's new graphite modeling tools!

Hello there, in today's tutorial we’d like to show you how we created a 3D caricature image of Kamran Saeed, an artist. We're huge fans of caricatures and totally fascinated with the realism that artists achieve in their artworks. The idea with this piece was to create a caricature of a real person – to capture a funny look with a modern spirit.

For this image, as the subject was a rogue, I searched for references in videogames, illustrations, real photos... I always try to get a big amount of them, and then I try to design a nice clothing, pose, and so. For example, the body armor was inspired by a lingerie photo, I used it as reference and started tweaking it to make it look like an armor. I've also got the idea of that leaf pattern from there, that I also used on some other parts, like the small shield and on the skirt.
