In the year 2030 on the distant planet of Vergos 10, natural resources have dropped to an all-time low, and mining operations are forced to go deeper than ever imagined before.
Due to the pressure of the inner earth and explosive gasses at severely low depths, iners are not able to enter the bottom of the mines. This called for a new way to mine.
Within a short amount of time, mechanical units were assembled to explore and work in the mines. Each Unit is controlled at a station above the surface in a virtual environment where the mech’s eyes become yours.
This tutorial is the most basic and easy-to-follow in Secrets of Rhinoceros, but it is still recommended that you have some experience with Rhinoceros before attempting it. The tutorials that come with Rhinoceros and information in the Rhinoceros manual are the best starting point for beginners who are new to the program. This tutorial describes how to build a Brachiosaurus in Rhinoceros, to produce models that could be used in a rendering as shown above. The tutorial includes a reference image to trace over, and sample files showing intermediate and final versions of the model, so it should be easy to follow. Please allow two hours to complete this tutorial.
This tutorial covers the modeling of a character, including defining some of its musculature. Note as you proceed through the project that a rough form will be created first, and then detail such as musculature will be added to the different body parts
This is a small demo on making a Shelby Cobra car body. We won't go through all the small stuff, like the tires and gas tank lid, etc..... You probably know how to do this or will soon. The car body is the hardest, it is a very smooth object and can be very difficult to make. We picked a very hard one, a Shelby Cobra.
