This is not an advanced texturing video tutorial. It is only here to show you the quick concept of one way to do textures without using the shelf tools. It doesn't cover tweaking your texture in any way at all, it just covers roughly applying it. As always there is 100 ways to do everything in Houdini and with the new shelf tools in Houdini 9, those numbers just got higher, but we wanted to show you one way to do it without using the texture buttons on the new texture shelf.
